Friends of African Children is a Non-Profit, Charitable Organization located in Orlando, Florida /USA. We are a group of believers: Catholic, Protestant, Jewish, Muslim and other men and women, young and old who have joined together under the leadership of Father Longin Buhake to provide education and other opportunities to the children of Africa.

Friends of African Children supports “Complexe Scholaire la Reference,” a Private School founded in 2003, for the orphans and children of low income families in or near Ilebo. We believe that education is the key to improving Ilebo’s standard of living and By providing access to quality education at little or no cost to even the poorest children, Friends of African Children hope to save future generations from repeating the tragedies of the past.

In addition to the Pre-K through Secondary school, Friends of African Children provide free Healthcare to over 800 children; nutritious food; accommodations for 63 orphans, ages 5 to 10 years old; and organized team sports for the children of South Africa.
